RIR AIR promotes research and development projects dedicated to innovation in the aerospace sector. Through collaboration between companies, universities, and research centers, the network supports the development of new technologies, advanced materials, and innovative solutions for the aerospace supply chain.
SATCO Project (RECONFIGURABLE COGNITIVE SATELLITE)
The Network won the tender for the construction of the first satellite featuring Venetian technology. The long-term goal is to develop a satellite constellation. The tender is worth 1.9 million euros, of which 1 million is a non-repayable grant.
The project reached a major milestone with the completion of the Preliminary Design Review (PDR).

Isoclima signs the first Italian agreement
with Leonardo’s Helicopters Division
Agreement signed for the supply of high-performance transparent systems (polycarbonate windshields and heated glass) for the AW139 and AW189 models.
The objective is to increase the use of Italian suppliers and strengthen the national aerospace supply chain.
ESA BIC of Padua
ESA Business Incubation Centres (ESA BIC) constitute the largest European network of incubators dedicated to supporting space-related start-ups.
ESA BIC Padua, supported by the Veneto Region, is coordinated by Officina Stellare in collaboration with StartCube, the business incubator of the Galileo Visionary District (headquarters of the University of Padua’s StartCube incubator).
